KAMARUL joined ACGL to head the International Business division of the group. He has more than 14 years experience in the corporate sector covering South East Asia, Hong Kong and China. He started his career with Sapura Telecommunications Berhad and was assigned to various subsidiaries within the group. In 2004, he joined four other entrepreneurs in a start-up company selling air-time advertising on behalf of a local radio station. A year later, the group bid for a tender to conceptualize, build and operate a radio station for Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad. The winning bid brought to the launch of FlyFM. The group subsequently divested its interest in FlyFM to Media Prima Berhad, a major media conglomerate in Malaysia.

Prior to joining ACGL, Kamarul sits on the Board of Directors of Perambang Holdings in Kuala Lumpur and its subsidiary Arah Selera HK Limited in Hong Kong. The group has business interests in multiple industries including import/export, food and beverage, business consultancy and experiential marketing. He is currently the South East Asian independent representative for Kleef &Co Limited, a green and sustainable strategy, consulting and advisory  company based in Hong Kong.

At ACGL, Kamarul is currently overseeing the Kazan Smart City project in the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation as well as as other on-going international projects in Central Asia and the Russian Federation.

TAN TECK CHUAN has been appointed by ACGL as an Independent Company Secretary being responsible in administering and monitoring all the legal documents and compliance of companies and portfolios under management (covering both proprietary and client’s accounts). He is one of the founders and director of Keeyaa Corporate Services Sdn Bhd in Malaysia todate.
 

He has been practising Company Secretarial functions for more than 10 years in various industries covering small-medium enterprises, multi-national companies, Public Listed Companies and Foundations. He brings to ACGL an extensive experience in the area of secretarial matters, corporate administration, company restructuring and corporate/individual tax issues.

DG HAMIZAH is responsible for financial operations and administrations of ACGL covering both proprietary and client’s accounts. Prior to joining ACGL in January 2012, Hamizah worked at the Finance Department of Asian Finance Bank Berhad, a full-fledged Shariah Compliant financial institution based in Kuala Lumpur.
 

She started her career in 2007 as an Intern at AmanahRaya JMF Asset Management, a licensed fund management company under the Minister of Finance Inc Malaysia. Subsequently she joined IM Global Sdn Bhd where she was assigned at real estate management accounting department covering several portfolios of properties.

SYAIRIL REZA joined ACGL in March 2013 assigned to manage international real estate projects covering proprietary and clients’ portfolios. Prior to joining ACGL, Reza worked with Iskandar Investment Berhad being directly involved in the flagship project of Iskandar EduCity in Johor, South Malaysia.
 

In October 2011, he was selected by Khazanah Nasional Berhad (the Malaysian sovereign-wealth fund) to be trained under the Graduates Employability Management Scheme (GEMS) where he completed an extensive training program in corporate sector and business management.
 

Reza started his career in 2006 having worked with IBM Malaysia, Yayasan Tekun Nasional and Maybank Malaysia Berhad.

BEHZOD of Uzbekistan nationality joined ACGL in October 2012 as an intern before being assigned to the CEO’s office in February 2013, handling all corporate affairs and international relations of the company


Prior to joining ACGL, Behzod was trained at Uzbekistan Airways’ Kuala Lumpur Branch where he was put under direct guidance of the Country’s General Manager. Behzod was an excellent student during his pre-university and was an award recipient at the prestigious Special Physical and Mathematical High School in Tashkent Uzbekistan. Behzod speaks fluent English, Uzbek and Russian languages.

MAXAT ZHUMASHEV

MAXAT of Kazakhstan nationality joined ACGL in February 2012 at the early stage of company’s take over from the previous shareholders. He had contributed significantly in ACGL’s ventures to secure new businesses in Central Asia.


Maxat started his career in 2010 as an intern at Kazintercom in Almaty, being trained in software development before moving to Malaysia to gain new experience as Management Trainee at AmanahRaya Capital Group Sdn Bhd (Kuala Lumpur) in early 2011. He was trained in the area of Corporate Finance, International Business and Real Estate.
At ACGL, Maxat is assigned to undertake political and economic research works on countries in Central Asia, Africa and Russian Federation. He speaks fluent English, Russian and Kazakh languages.
